Itineraries
Day 1: Arrival
Swabian Alb and Black Forest, approx. 235 km
In the morning, we begin our journey to the Black Forest – the heartland of motorcycle enthusiasts – at the Jettingen-Scheppach motorway rest area near Günzburg. After a short stretch on the motorway and a quick coffee and fuel stop in Merklingen, we drive through the charming Swabian Alb region. We make another stop at Lichtenstein Castle, where there is an opportunity to take a guided tour of approximately 30 minutes (subject to availability). We have lunch at the foot of Hohenzollern Castle. After lunch, we continue our journey towards Triberg. Just before arriving in Triberg, we will visit the world's largest cuckoo clock before reaching our hotel for the night.
Day 2:
Murg Valley and Black Forest High Road 250km
Our second day begins right after breakfast. The route takes us along the Murg River to the ruins of Schramberg for a short photo stop. Our next stop is Freudenstadt, where we can enjoy coffee and Black Forest cherry cake. From there, we continue our journey via the Reichenbach Monastery towards the Murg Valley. Just before lunch, we stop again at the former Rote Lache mountain hotel to admire the magnificent view of the Murg Valley. We will have lunch in Geroldsau. After lunch, we continue our tour along the Black Forest High Road. Another photo stop awaits us at Mummelsee – don't forget to take a picture of the mermaid statue! – before we head further south to our next photo stop. In the afternoon, we'll have a coffee break before returning to our hotel in Triberg.
Day 3
Black Forest mountain passes, approx. 270 km
After breakfast, the third stage of our tour takes us towards Titisee. We'll make a short photo stop along the way, then continue along the Höllentalstrasse road towards Titisee and Feldberg. Below the mountain cable car station, we'll have a coffee break. From there, we'll proceed along the Hochkopfstrasse. We'll have lunch in Zell im Wiesental. After lunch, we'll continue to Wiedener Eck and the suspension bridge at the Todtnauberg waterfalls, where there will be another opportunity for some photos. Our final stop for a relaxing coffee break will be at Kandel, before returning to the hotel.

Day 4
Nature and culture, approx. 270 km
The third tour through the Black Forest begins after breakfast. First, we drive along the River Elz through the Prechtal valley, then through the beautiful Glottertal valley towards Freiburg, arriving at the Schauinsland mountain. We'll take a coffee break at the mountain station. Next, we continue into the southern Black Forest, stopping for lunch at the monastery pond near Horbach. From there, we drive via St. Blasien to Rothaus, with a short photo stop at the state-owned brewery and the Hüsli Museum (Black Forest Clinic). We'll enjoy afternoon coffee at the charming Bernreuthehof farm (weather permitting). Our final short photo stop will be at the historic Linachtal dam before returning to the hotel.
Day 5 / Return journey
Black Forest and Swabian Alb, approx. 240 km
Return journey, Friday: Today our Black Forest tour comes to an end, and after breakfast we will head home. From Triberg, we will first drive along the B33 towards St. Georgen and Rottweil. We will make a short stop in Messtetten, and we will have lunch in Hohenstein-Ödenwaldstetten. After another short break with a fuel stop, we will then reach our starting point at the Jettingen-Scheppach motorway rest area after a short drive on the autobahn.

The roads are generally well developed and asphalted.
This route is of intermediate difficulty and suitable for returning riders and beginners. However, riders should be comfortable handling tight curves and hairpin bends. Parts of the route also include mountain roads with very sharp bends.
Participants must have their own motorcycle that complies with road traffic regulations and is in roadworthy condition, as well as complete protective gear.

Citizens of EU countries do not require a visa for the countries on this tour. An identity card valid for at least 6 months after the end of the trip is required. A valid passport is required for entry into Great Britain. Tour participants of other nationalities should inform themselves about the respective entry requirements before booking. As part of this trip, we visit numerous sights, historical sites and natural and cultural monuments. Any costs for sightseeing and guided tours are only part of the tour service if these are described in the inclusive services.
